In this infographic, we explore the impact of diabetic foot on the quality of patient life.  The start of diabetic foot infection is easily preventable if the correct steps are taken.

On average, a diabetic foot ulcer or infection takes 100-150 days to heal.

Of those suffering from diabetic foot, 40% of those will heal with some form of amputation (toes, foot, leg).

The survivabel rate for a leg amputee is 5 years (less than breast or colon cancer).

50% of those experiencing a leg amputation will lose the other leg within 5 years.
