St. Day Tourist Park
Located a few miles away from Redruth in Cornwall, you will find St Day Tourist Park.
St. Day Tourist Park is a small, peaceful holiday park in rural surroundings. It is an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful Cornish countryside, beaches and spectacular coastline. Spacious surroundings are provided around the touring & camping pitches. Static caravans, wooden lodges and brick built chalets are available to hire.
The holiday park offers outstanding facilities, including a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, a bathroom with free hot water baths, and Wi-Fi.
It’s a little park in a rural area and is ideal if you and your family want to familiarise yourselves with the Cornish ambience, as Redruth and Truro are both within easy reach. The St. Day village is only a five minute walk away. It offers a supermarket, a supply shop, a pub that offers the best fish and chips to eat inside or take-away.
St. Day Tourist Park allows pets and is the perfect place for you and your family.
Cotswold Farm Park
This campsite is located on a family farm in Gloucestershire. Cotswold Farm Park is owned by Adam Henson, a farmer and a BBC Countryfile presenter. It is the perfect place if you want a feel of the agricultural lifestyle. You’ll find farm animals like rabbits, sheep, hens, and rare breeds. There are so many activities you can participate in, from visiting the animals, exploring the woodland walk, enjoying the adventure playground and eating in the cafe.
Pleasant Streams Farm
Do you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? Pleasant Streams Farm, in St. Austell, Cornwall, offers a serene and quiet environment. The peaceful and child friendly site is just the right place to get enough rest. From the site you can explore the beaches and coastal areas of Cornwall. In the afternoons, you could hop on a boat for a ride on the lake found right in the middle of the campsite. Pitches are spread out across the site and offer plenty of space for your caravan, tent or motorhome. You could bike and explore the beautiful Pentewan Valley Trail or hire the sea kayak to cruise its beautiful coastlines.
The site facilities include six flush loos and four hot water showers, camping gas stoves, cooking kits, tableware, and utensils. Don’t forget to bring a washing bowl! Campfires are allowed but dogs aren’t due to the farm animals.
The Mount Pleasant Eco Farm
The Mount Pleasant Eco Farm offers space for campers to pitch tents and set up caravans and campers. The site is located on the beautiful north coast of Cornwall. The facilities are close to the pitch and included solar powered showers. The site has an excellent sea view, pets are allowed, and there is free high-speed Wi-Fi. There’s plenty of room in the on-site bar for social distancing, and there are local beers too.
These are a few of many excellent UK caravan sites. Once you’ve picked your site, you can look forward to serious family relaxation time. Be sure to prepare your holiday beforehand so that you can make the most of your time together.
If you are considering a new caravan purchase for 2021 then consider financing this through a secured loan.
Whilst we might not be touring right now there is no harm in planning for later in the year. Stay safe and take care!
