A Special Christmas Message from Bama Huskies

This year, like so many of you, we’ve faced moments of profound loss. We said goodbye to two beloved members of our fur family—Amber, our beautiful husky, and Cocoa, our sweet dachshund. Their absence has left an emptiness that words can’t fully express. Some days are heavier than others, as the waves of grief come and go. Yet through the tears, we’ve been reminded of the incredible gift dogs bring into our lives—their unconditional love, boundless joy, and their ability to forgive freely.

I truly believe that dogs are on loan to us from God, sent to teach us how to love better and live more fully. They remind us of what truly matters in life. It’s often said you can learn a lot about a person by watching how they treat their dog, and I’ve been privileged to witness so much kindness and love through the families who have welcomed a Bama Husky into their lives.

As Christmas approaches, we find ourselves reflecting not only on the losses but also on the blessings of the past year. At Bama Huskies, we’ve had the honor of helping so many families meet their lifelong companions—puppies who bring laughter, love, and a sense of new beginnings. These little furballs remind us that even in the depths of sorrow, life finds a way to move forward with love and hope.

If you’re missing a beloved dog this holiday season, please know you’re not alone. The love you shared with them didn’t end when they crossed the rainbow bridge. It lives on in your heart, your memories, and the life lessons they gave you. If they could send you one final message, I believe it would be this:
